Creating a New Task

Creating a New Task

When you notice something at one of your facilities that needs to be taken care of, you can track progress by creating a task. You can create a task directly from the tasks page but clicking the 'add task' button, or while you are performing an inspection by clicking 'add task' from the options menu. If you create a task from an inspection, the task will have a link back to that inspection.

You can create a single task, or a task series that recurs on a regular basis.  We provide the ability to add notes and attachments to each individual task to help provide context as work progresses. It’s important to note that if you add notes and/or comments when creating a task series (e.g. a task that will occur every week for a year) they will be added to the first task in that series.

Once you have added a few tasks, you’re ready to start managing your tasks
