Managing Inspection Questions

Managing Inspection Questions

You can manage your inspection questions through the Manage Content page. Inspection questions are the things you need to know about the item types you are inspecting. Questions can contain a specific code or citation if you choose to add one. Dakota EHS supports several different answer types for questions. Pass/Fail rates and reporting statistics will be based on these answers. It is important to write and answer questions in a way that flows with the answer scoring convention:

Dakota provides each organization with a list of curated questions.  You can use the Dakota questions, add to them, and also create your own organizational specific questions.  You can choose to add a single question or add many at a time. If you choose to add multiple questions you can copy/paste from another source or type in the space provided. Each question needs to be on it's own line to ensure that it can be processed properly. Questions can be added to a specific item, or be left uncategorized. We suggest that you add each question to a specific item type to enhance the usefulness of reporting based on these questions.

Once you have reviewed the questions library and any questions you need, you are ready to set up your inspection templates.
