Scheduling and Managing Inspections

Scheduling and Managing Inspections

Once you have created at least one inspection template, you are ready to start performing inspections. To schedule an inspection you can click "Schedule Inspection" from the Inspections module, Organizational Calendar, or Inspections Templates.

To schedule an inspection, add the following details:

Inspection Title
Enter a name for the inspection.
This helps identify it in the calendar and lists (e.g., Monthly Safety Check, Housekeeping Inspection).

Facility (required)
Select the facility where the inspection will take place.
If the facility you selected has zones, you can leave the inspection general to the facility or specify which zones you'll be inspecting.

Template (required)
Select the inspection template to use.
The template defines the questions that will be included in the inspection.

Assignee
Select the user responsible for completing the inspection.
If left blank, the inspection can still be scheduled without a specific assignee.

Priority
Set the priority level (e.g., Low, Medium, High).
This helps indicate the importance of the inspection.

Due Date (required)
Select the date the inspection is due.
This determines when the inspection should be completed by and when it becomes overdue.

Recurrence
Choose how often the inspection should repeat.
Options include:
  • Does not repeat (one-time inspection)
  • Daily
  • Weekly (e.g., every Wednesday)
  • Monthly (e.g., on the 15th)
  • Annually (e.g., April 15th)
  • Custom (define your own schedule)

Once scheduled, the inspection will automatically appear as a "scheduled" inspection on your Organizational Calendar and the Scheduled Inspections

Editing Inspections

Once Inspections are scheduled, you can edit them if you need to. If an inspection occurs one time, you can convert it to a series. If an inspection is part of a series, you can edit each occurrence individually or edit the entire series using the "edit series" options.
