Managing Incidents

Managing Incidents

To complete an incident report, open the Incidents module and select the record you want to work on from the incident table. This will open the full incident view.

All details from the initial report are available for you to review and edit. You can update the incident status and complete the remaining documentation fields, which may vary depending on the type of incident.

As you work, you can:

  • Add notes, attachments, and media to support the investigation.

  • Create follow-up tasks to ensure corrective actions are completed.

Any tasks created from an incident are tracked in the Tasks module and include a direct link back to the related incident, making it easy for assignees to understand the context.

For incidents involving confidential or sensitive information, mark the record as a privacy case. Access will be limited to authorized users, but the incident will remain counted and  included in all required OSHA reporting
